Walt Disney Pictures “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” is rolling into theaters this Friday, October 3rd. There is quite the line-up of stars in this film! Jamie Lee Curtis and Piper Perado (pictured above) actually play humans in this movie, while stars like Drew Barrymore, George Lopez and Salma Hayek do the voices for the adorable dogs.
“Beverly Hills Chihuahua” is about a pampered Chihuahua named Chloe (voice of Drew Barrymore) who gets accidentally lost in the streets of Mexico. The pooch, who is used to day spas and high-end shopping, finds herself completely out of her element.
Chloe is all alone in a strange world for the first time in her life and she has to rely on some unexpected friends to lend her a hand, er, paw. A German Shepherd named Delgado (voice of Andy Garcia) and pup named Papi (voice of George Lopez) help her find her inner strength and make it back home to Beverly Hills.
This film is actually receiving better reviews that I expected. Many critics are saying that the trailers that have been released are actually a little misleading when it comes to how good the movie really is. I am still a bit skeptical, and don’t plan on spending a dime to see it in the theaters, but I will definitely read up on the reviews after it premieres this weekend.
